By now, Telltale Games is a household name. Almost everyone who plays games on mobile would have seen or heard of at least one of its point-and-click adventure games. If you haven’t, then I’m sure you have at least heard of The Walking Dead. It’s fame precedes Telltale’s fame, as it gained popularity from the TV show and the comics it was derived from. So yesterday, Telltale Games revealed that they will be officially revealing the next season of their take on The Walking Dead, which would be season 3 now, this Sunday June 12.
Their first Walking Dead game came out to critical acclaim and it subsequently catapulted Telltale Games to stardom. Every game they made after that became such a major hit. Protagonists Lee and Clementine were so popular that many cosplayed the two of them. In the second game, and probably in the third, the game continues to follow Clementine as she comes of age in a world filled with zombies, untrusting humans and a lot of tough choices. The drama never ends.
The emotional ending to Season 2 of the game is surely going to play a big role in the upcoming season. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t played the first two games, so if you haven’t, the first episode of both games are free on the Google Play Store. If you love it and find yourself wanting to protect dear Clementine, go ahead and buy the rest of the episodes before you start on this third season.
