It is no more than half a year ago since Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge was released, but now efforts are directed towards the sequel.
According to a leak TechRadar has had access to, it seems that Samsung spare no big in the upcoming flagship especially with high resolution and a new powerful processor. The display is said to be 5.2 inches and will have a resolution with impressive 4096 x 2160 pixels. In comparison, the S7-screen has 2560 x 1440 pixels. The processor, which is expected to be a Snapdragon 830, has eight cores and clocks in at 3.2GHz. S8 will also have 6GB of memory, according to this leak.
Among other things mentioned, a brand new camera with a whopping 30 megapixels and optical image stabilizer. We haven’t seen something similar not seen since Nokia Lumia 1020 was launched in July 2013 with a camera with 41 megapixels. If this leak is right, S8 will have both iris and finger sensor – such as Note 7 – a battery with 4200 mAh which both support rapid charging and wireless charging, built-in projector and 64 and 128GB storage with support for memory cards. It is claimed that Samsung S8 will be available in black, blue, gold and white. Expected launch is around April 2017.Source
