Marvel Run Jump Smash Second Look Review

Now just like Ryan, I am a huge sucker for super hero games, and when he reviewed Marvel Run Jump Smash I refused to believe that the game was terrible. So I decided to take a look for myself, and this time around I wish that I wasn’t a sucker for super hero games…

It is hard to believe that this game was a huge hit for Korean mobile gamers, because it has all the elements to be a great game, it has the gameplay of an endless runner, you have the Marvel super heroes by your side that you cycle through, and in the end it all plays out the same just like the title you’ll run, jump, and smash, repeat. So what can be so wrong with this game? Please read on fellow gamers

When you first start the game you will take control of a S.H.I.E.L.D agent, Nick Fury for guys, and Maria Hill for gals. As you will endlessly run, you will also be collecting coins, avoiding, and attacking enemies too. During your run you will see a superhero token, and when you manage to grab it, you will be able to switch your S.H.I.E.L.D. agent with a super hero, for a short time. It is great to see that each super hero does play differently, take for instance Iron Man can fly. And it is sad to say that the difference between heroes is a disappointment.Run-Jump-Smash-Marvel-GameplayMarvel Run Jump Smash just fails to bring anything new to the table, even with the endless runner game play and with Marvel Super Heroes to play around with, is just not enough to impress even the most hard-core Marvel or endless runner fans. And it even fails to bring a decent upgrade system that we have seen in almost every endless runner since the release of Temple Run.

Now one cool thing is most super heroes are unlocked from the start, but if you would like to purchase them you can be looking to spend (real money) about $3.00 to $5.00 a piece, and the worst part is that is not much of a difference of gameplay with the heroes that I have purchased, and if you don’t see much of a difference then why would you go shopping for more?

I am still trying to figure out how this game was number 1 in Korea, because this is just a mediocre, and bland game, that just fails to WOW me or any Marvel and endless runner fan. This is one game that you DON’T want to spend you money on, there is a wide variety of games that are on the Google Play Store. Even if this is just only $0.99
